Chickasawhay Hideaway

Frequently Asked Questions

General — About the Property

Chickasawhay Hideaway is a family resort and entertainment complex in Leakesville, MS that opened in June 2025. It’s an umbrella brand covering several attractions on the same property: ChickasaWaves Water Park, Chickasawhay River RV Park (RV sites, cabins, primitive camping, and canoe/kayak/tube rentals), Street Racin’ Haven (a drag strip), and The Haven Bar & Grill.

Yes. All three names refer to attractions at the same resort, at 660 Raj Road, Leakesville, MS 39451. Chickasawhay Hideaway is the overall resort brand; ChickasaWaves is the water park; and Chickasawhay River RV Park (also called Chickasawhay River Canoe Rentals) handles the RV sites, cabins, camping, and river trips. Each has its own website and booking system, but they share the same address, ownership, and staff.

660 Raj Road, Leakesville, MS 39451. Phone: 601-394-9572 or 601-394-2660 (also listed as (601) 394-9572 for the RV park/canoe rentals).

Hours vary by attraction and season:

  • ChickasaWaves Water Park (as advertised publicly): Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • ChickasaWaves posted park hours (per the park-hours page): Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Chickasawhay River RV Park: open year-round (campground/RV/cabins)

Because hours have changed as the resort has expanded, it’s best to call ahead or check the relevant website before visiting.

The Haven Bar & Grill (on-site restaurant with a boba tea shop and Italian brick-oven additions), Street Racin’ Haven (a drag strip hosting races, concerts, and festivals throughout the year), and Chickasawhay River Canoe Rentals (canoe, kayak, and tube trips on the Chickasawhay River).
