Tucked along the Chickasawhay River near Leakesville, Mississippi, Chickasawhay Hideaway is the kind of place where a weekend turns into a favorite family tradition. Splash down our giant floating water park, drift the Lazy River, paddle the river by kayak or canoe, or just pitch a tent under the trees. However you like to unwind, we’ve got a spot for you — and a plate of good food waiting at the Haven Bar & Grill when you’re done.
The Chickasawhay River is the heart of this place, and we make it easy to get out on it
Rent a kayak, canoe, or tube and spend an afternoon on the water, or book a river excursion that runs anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days. Our overnight trips cover about 20 miles as the crow flies — but with all the river’s twists and bends, plan on paddling double that before you finish, it’s downstream and not that difficult.
